My journey in Paris for this season has finally started to have an actual purpose, other than simply wandering around the streets, visiting well-known sights.
I get to document Christmas around here, and it’s the most beautiful thing to do, since I just love to discover stories and beautiful people.
Public squares are starting to fill with wooden chalets and joy. The smell of the French Cuisine is in the air, and there are Christmas carols everywhere. People are not grumpy in this time of the year, but that’s a thing yet to discover.
One thing is for sure: Christmas is around the corner and Paris sure knows how to welcome it.
Apart from Christmas decorations and the lights and garlands on the streets, Paris will host at least 17 markets specially dedicated to this time of the year. More details on each market you can find here. Most of them will open in December, as stated by the same source, but some have already opened in places like La Défense, Place des Abbesses, Champs-Elysées.
I am going to try and visit as many markets as I can, in an attempt to catch lots of smiles and good stories to share, as well as colours and positivism 🙂 Let the Christmas time begin.
